Kerry and Glenn were one of our couples that we photographed in 2008. We had a ball with these guys and of course were delighted to hear that they had had a beautiful baby girl named Hannah. Kerry & Glenn wanted to have some portraits done with Hannah so Nicole headed out to their house for some informal family portraits. Hannah is a little cutie!
Melanie & Pete were one of my favourite weddings from 2009. Melanie was so keen to have us photograph her wedding that she changed he wedding date in order to make sure she could have her favourite venue, photographer and celebrant. Melanie planned the most perfect day, I have never seen someone have so much attention to detail with their wedding.
What made it even more exciting for us is that we got to work with so many of our favourite wedding vendors.
Melanie’s beautiful makeup was done by Danielle Robinson. Their Celebrant, Anne Campbell is absolutely amazing! Then of course their wedding cake (photo below) was made by Sarah-jane from Cake That! mmmmmmmm hehehe. Now you can’t go past the stunning grand ballroom at the Stamford Plaza, just beautiful and Melanie had the room decorated just perfect!
There were so many photos I wanted to share from this wedding but I need to keep it down to a minimum so here are just a few of my favourites.

Galleries of wedding flowers, hair styles, wedding cakes and more to inspire brides in their choices for their own wedding as well as articles on many different wedding topics.

Some of you may know Adam from around the traps. Adam is also known as DJ Coxy and plays in a few of the bigger brisbane night clubs. Adam is now moving to Sydney to play down there and needed to update his portfolio for promoting the gigs he will be playing down there……this is the outcome.
Luen had worked with xsight previously for some portfolio images and came to us to update her portfolio. We always have alot of fun working with Luen and this day was no exception.

Each time I think that i am catching up on blog posts i realise that i am only up to October last year. I will get there, i have so many shoots to show everyone i just haven’t had a chance to blog them all.
Josh and Sarah will always be a special couple for me and we have a fab day with an awesome bridal party. They have become quite good freinds since we shot the wedding nearly 5 months ago. We covered the full day including the reception at Rydges at Southbank which just made a beautiful back drop for an amazing wedding.
Josh and Sarah came to the last expo that we had at the sofitel and told all of the potential bride and grooms about their experience with XSiGHT shooting their wedding. And then they stayed around and helped me pack our whole stand up, what a legend!! Josh is an awesome photographer himself and has come out on a few weddings with me since his wedding and getting some awesome stuff.
As always we had an awesome day with lots of laughs, the album that has been designed looks awesome and I cant wait to see it all come together.
Kimberly and Michael said that they wanted something a little bit different and pretty much left the day up to me for locations, style and everything. So what i did is go to 3 locations that I have never gone before but have been itching to get there for ages.
Oh and I nearly forgot, Michael shot himself with a nail gun or some heavy piece of equipment 3 days before the wedding!! minor scaring but he will be fine. Kimberly and Michael were a capital A for awesome!!
Jo and Ash are an amazing couple and it was an absolute plesure to photograph them and be part of their special day at Mt Tamborine. Here is a few images from their day
Thought I would share a little bit of our Christmas day with you. This was shot with my 5D Mark II and edited with the simplest video editing program in the world imovie on the macbook pro.

Jacqueline and Brenton are a beautiful couple that we had the please of photographing and also doing the video for back in August. We had an awesome time with these guys. I must say that the family was probably one of the most fun families that we had the privilege to photograph and we had a ball all day.
.Jacqulines family has been photographed by XSight about 3 times now with lots of different weddings in Brisbane and in Melbourne. we cant wait for the next one guys
